Job Description:
The successful candidate will develop model-informed behavioral and fMRI experiments in the Decision and Memory lab at Universitat Jaume I under the supervision of Dr. Raphael Kaplan. The overarching objective of this postdoc position is to determine how human episodic memory and the hippocampus are adapted to remember social aspects of events in the service of guiding social interactions and prosocial decisions. Candidates will be encouraged to incorporate their research interests into experiments that address this general research line.
The Decision and Memory lab is a diverse collection of researchers led by Raphael Kaplan that investigates how human episodic and spatial memory computations inform cognitive maps, imagination, social cognition, and decision making. The lab provides ample opportunities for mentoring, networking, and career development in both academic and private sectors. Further information on the Decision and Memory lab is available at www.decisionandmemory.org.
