The laboratory offers a position as a high-level research assistant for 2 years, associated with a financed research project on the processing and representation of sounds and emotions.
Place: Faculty of Psychology, University of Barcelona; with teleworking allowed from Barcelona and surrounding area (depending on the COVID-19 pandemic situation)
Contract duration: 2 years
Hour per week: 25 hours.
Gross salary (year / month): 23,680 eur. / 1,530 eur. approx. (14 payments)
Starting date: January / February, 2021
Job description: The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing studies derived from the project, programming experimental protocols (including EEG), preparing the experimental set-ups and testing healthy volunteer participants. She/he will also participate in data processing and analysis (EEG).
Required previous studies and skills:
- Bachelor’s and (ideally) Master’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, or in Informatics/Physics. Good English and Spanish (basic) are required.
- Ability to program (Python and / or Matlab), and (ideally) previous experience with EEG.
