Applications are invited for a full-time PhD research position in Madrid under the supervision of Jon Andoni Duñabeitia (Universidad Nebrija), Claudia Poch (Universidad Nebrija) and José Antonio Hinojosa (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) in the context of a national project studying the relationship between cultural knowledge and cognitive development across the lifespan.
The successful applicant will join the Centro de Ciencia Cognitiva (C3) of the Universidad Nebrija, and will also collaborate with the AFNECO research group of the Instituto Pluridisciplinar of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
The candidates need to have a native or native-like command of Spanish. They should have completed an undergraduate degree in psychology, education, cognitive science, computation sciences or related disciplines, and they should have finished or be about to complete a Master’s degree in any of those areas. Previous experience in research laboratories, a good English level and programming skills will be valued.
The successful applicant is expected to join the team before April 2020, and the contract will be renewable up to three years following a favorable report of the supervisors each year. The annual salary will be 16,000 gross based on full-time employment.
