PROFESSOR POSITION OFFER

The School of Psychology: Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Santiago, Chile, offers a permanent position in teaching and research in neuroscience. 

Candidates must hold a PhD degree and have training in neuroscience and/or electrophysiology. They should have research experience in neuroscience (preferably cognitive or social), and solid knowledge of data analysis, including some of the following: pattern recognition, modeling, statistics and experimental design, programming (e.g., Matlab, Python, R). The candidate’s research must use some of the following methods: EEG (e.g., active paradigms, connectivity studies), TMS, or Eyetracking.

The candidate must show productivity in WoS (ex-ISI) (at least 10 publications in the last 5 years) and grants as Principal Researcher. Candidates must be able to participate in international research networks. 

Responsibilities include developing and autonomous line of research, developing scripts and methods for data analysis, providing support of ongoing research at the Center for Social and Cognitive Neuroscience of the School of Psychology, and teaching at undergraduate and graduate level. The candidate is expected to be proficient enough in Spanish to teach undergrad courses (exceptionally, the Spanish classes could be delayed to 2020).
