The Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) has published the call for PhD Students 2017. The application period is from 3rd to 18th October 2017 at 15:00h.

The call offers up to 1 PhD Student position to join the following MINECO Research Funded Projects:
PSI2016-76443-P- METAWARE – Brain mechanisms for human working memory and metacognition across different states of awareness– PI Prof. David Soto

Key words: Consciousness, visual awareness, non-conscious processes, metacognition, working memory, selective attention

The offered position comprises a 4-year contract as PhD students.

Individuals interested in the PhD position should have:
– a strong theoretical and methodological background in cognitive neuroscience or experimental psychology.
– a strong level of written and spoken English.
– strong computational skills (preferably in Python).

Research experience with neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, M/EEG) will be an asset. Possession of a Master degree in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or any other related area is highly recommended and will be positively valued.
