PhD position at the Mind Brain & Behavior Research Center, University of Granada

PhD position at the Psychology, Ergonomics and Physical Activity lab (http://peaf.ugr.es), sited at the Mind Brain & Behavior Research Center, University of Granada, Granada, Spain.

We are looking for a PhD student (4-years grant, with annual evaluations) to work on a project funded by the Spanish Ministerio de Economía, Industria, y Competitividad (PSI2016-75956-P) that studies the (neuro)physiological and cognitive mechanisms that underlie the relationship between physical exercise and brain & cognition. The experiments will involve the collection and analysis of EEG, ECG and behavioural data.

The successful candidate should have a MRes or MSc in an area of interest to the study of Human Cognition, Brain and Behaviour (involving the analysis of (neuro)physiological data; e.g., Cognitive Neuroscience, Biophysics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).

The candidate should possess computer programming skills (Matlab preferable), and good written and oral communication skills in English.

Prior experience in the analysis of physiological (EEG, ECG or both) and behavioural data will be valued.
