We are hiring a postdoctoral researcher to join the FLARE project (The Representational Architecture of Fast Learning through Abstraction), funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science.
What: Cognitive neuroscience of predictive processing – fMRI, RSA, DNNs
Where: CIMCYC, University of Granada, Spain
When: Flexible start date (ideally early 2026)
Duration: 2 years (fully funded)
The successful candidate will work on the analysis of fMRI data using representational similarity analysis (RSA), and the development of theoretical RSA models derived from deep neural networks.
The position is embedded in the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC), a vibrant international hub for cognitive neuroscience research in southern Spain. The postdoc will work closely with an interdisciplinary team and will benefit from local and international collaborations.
