Os reenviamos información sobre la convocatoria de una plaza predoctoral en la Universidad de Nebrija.
La Junta Directiva de la SEPEX
Description of the project:
In the framework of the project ‘Neuro-cognitive processes of multilingual communication: integration of pragmatic information during second language and foreign-accented speech comprehension’ (PID2023-151322NB-I00), the Nebrija Research Centre for Cognition offers a 3-year PhD contract. The project uses mainly electroencephalography to address two objectives: 1) to investigate whether pragmatic information is similarly processed in a first and second language, and 2) to examine whether pragmatic processing is affected by foreign-accented speech. Beyond its scientific relevance for models of first and second language comprehension, the project aims to enhance communicative effectiveness and empathy across diverse linguistic and multicultural contexts.
The candidate should have an interest in psycholinguistics and bilingualism research, with a master’s degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Linguistics, and/or other relevant areas. The candidate will join the Nebrija Research Centre in Cognition which provides a dynamic and multicultural scientific environment with research-related training opportunities.
