Dear all,

We are excited to invite you for the Bayesian Workshop in Lisbon (Portugal) tailored for early career researchers (10-12 January 2024).

The purpose of this workshop is to promote the application of Bayesian methods among the early career researchers and to establish a good practice of open science within this group. No prior knowledge in Bayesian analysis is required though knowledge in frequentist statistics will be beneficial. Hence, this workshop will provide introduction on Bayesian concepts and hands-on materials using R and brms package.

This workshop will consist of :

– A talk on modelling individual variabilities by João Veríssimo, Ph.D.

– A Bayesian workshop  by Mark Andrews, Ph.D.

Participation does not incur any charges but participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, lodging, and meals. Participants also need to bring their own laptop.
