I have a vacancy for a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University, Belgium. The position is part of a large (Methusalem) research project on learning and implicit processes. Topics that are addressed in the project include evaluative learning, learning via instructions, persuasion, (automatic) relational processing, and the measurement of implicit evaluations and implicit beliefs.
The postdoc position is for a period of three years. The starting date is negotiable (preferably before December 1st 2016). Starting salary depends on prior academic experience, but will probably range between 2300 and 2900 euro per month after taxes. The main assignment of the postdoc is to conduct and publish research related to the topics of the project and to co-supervise the work of PhD students. Teaching and administration load will be minimal. Candidates should have a PhD in (social, learning, behavioral, or cognitive) psychology. They should have published in international journals on topics related to learning, implicit evaluations, relational processing, or persuasion.
